I'm working on a house album and was trying to come up with something slightly downtempo and not too strident, but this wound up being weirdly sinister:
The pads are basic triple oscillators and the bass is an FM synth I was trying to do things with. I normally find the a minor to F major 7 sequence kind of plaintive but this was just downright ominous.
